A Word From One of the Creators
From the desk of Eric Ratcliffe
So I kind of second guessed myself with last week’s strip after we put it up. I had several people who were confused about why comic me was stuck to a wall in the first place. I thought it was a fun set up and people might have guessed who was responsible due to the nature of the binding. Not sure if I should have found another way to hint at the Poison Ivy connection but honestly? I’m happy with the end product. Especially because it gives me even more reason to use Chuck in these upcoming strips and I’m having fun exploring new story telling devices.
Also, a no prize to several parties who I’m sure did have the guess that this tied into comic me’s dating life. Couldn’t resist yet another nod to his failed courting of yet another comic book redhead. What can I say? I have a problem.
Shout out to my co-creator Bill Gladman as today is his birthday! Without him, we wouldn’t have New Comic Day so I hope it’s an awesome one and he’s able to relax and enjoy it!
Later today I will be talking to the creators of the very funny Shelf Life webseries (http://www.youtube.com/user/shelflifetheseries), Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal. I highly recommend subscribing and checking them out and there current campaign for season 4. They are also awesome voice actors and regular actors.
And I know I say this all the time or, I did when Chad is around, but God, Jim is knocking it out of the park. I’m very excited for you guys to see what’s coming up!
Next week…New Comic Day heads to Vegas, does Brant have a stroke of luck? Find out in 7, folks!

HAHAHAHA…hey, CR Family, its time we found a “nice” girl for Eric. Maybe sign him for Harmony or Dating Sexy Super Villains Inc.
